A clear explanation of how and why we process personal data.

This page explains the data protection approach that applies to RASKAN’s website and digital services.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how RASKAN processes personal data through raskanajans.com, the RASKAN AI assistant, and the contact and appointment flows available on the website. It reflects the data flows currently used on the site and may be updated when the services change.

  • Name, email address, phone number, service preference, request note, appointment date and time submitted through contact and appointment forms.
  • Messages sent to RASKAN AI, a chat session identifier, and contact details shared for appointment booking.
  • Technical data needed to operate and secure the site and APIs, such as IP address, browser/device information, request time, referring page and error logs.
  • If you accept analytics and marketing cookies: cookie or online identifiers, pages and interactions, referring source, advertising/measurement signals, browser/device information, approximate location and session statistics.
  • Short-lived browser data such as language preference, cookie preference, form drafts and chat drafts.

  • To receive, assess and respond to contact and appointment requests.
  • To operate RASKAN AI, preserve a draft in the same browser and manage the appointment flow.
  • To keep the website, forms and API services secure and available and to prevent abuse or spam.
  • With your consent, to understand aggregate site usage and improve the site.
  • To comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and exercise or defend legal rights.

5. Legal bases

Depending on the activity, data is processed under the conditions provided by Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and other applicable law. These may include taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, establishing or defending a legal claim, legitimate interests, and consent where required. Where an optional activity requires consent, it is requested separately and in an informed manner.

6. Sharing

Where necessary and limited to the purposes above, data may be shared with technical providers operating the appointment and chat infrastructure, hosting/CDN and security providers, competent public authorities, and legally authorized persons or organizations. RASKAN AI and appointment requests are sent to infrastructure at api.raskanajans.com.

If you accept analytics and marketing, the usage and measurement data described above may be transferred to Google Analytics and Meta Pixel and processed outside Türkiye. The site is not designed to send names, email addresses, phone numbers, chat messages or appointment form fields to those tools. Some pages also use Google Fonts; when your browser requests those resources, connection and technical data may be processed by the relevant provider.

7. Retention

Form and chat drafts are kept in the browser for approximately 30 minutes and are removed after the expiry period or when the process is completed. Server-side appointment, chat, security and contact records are retained for the period necessary for the purpose, applicable legal retention duties and limitation periods. They are deleted, destroyed or anonymized when the applicable period ends. Measurement data processed through Google Analytics and Meta Pixel is retained according to the relevant account settings and each provider's policies.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics and Meta Pixel load only after you actively accept analytics and marketing cookies; if you reject them, those tags do not run. Google Analytics may use first-party _ga and _ga_<measurement-id> cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. Meta Pixel may use identifiers such as _fbp and, where applicable, _fbc for advertising measurement and attribution. Your preference is stored in browser localStorage; browser storage may also be used for language preference, appointment form drafts and RASKAN AI drafts.

9. Your rights

Under Article 11 of Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law, you may contact us to ask whether your data is processed, request information about processing and its purposes, learn the recipients of transfers, request correction or deletion where applicable, ask for notification of those actions to recipients, object to a result against you from solely automated analysis, and request compensation for unlawful processing damage.
